Mentorship & Training
Cultivating and Supporting Early Career Researchers
The Caucus Mentorship Program is an annual initiative that connects our student members to more senior researchers and practitioners to provide insight and guidance on professional development and to allow for networking among those with common interests. Potential mentors and mentees who identify as LGBTQ or have interests in LGBTQ health are generally matched during the winter, and the program runs through the following APHA Annual Meeting in the fall. For questions about the Mentorship Program, please reach out to our Student Chair.
The Caucus also regularly works to identify mentors and guides who can assist individuals at any stage of their career - or who want to learn more about LGBTQ Health. To learn more, please reach out to our Chair.
